Tai Chi Program in Oak Hill

An event every week that begins at 5:30pm on Thursday, repeating until April 27, 2017
Join Community Captain and Tai Chi Instructor, Joe Jett, for a Free Tai Chi Program. The program was originally listed as 12 weeks but the participants voted to have it extended to go through April. After that the group will meet twice a month.
Over the course of 12 weeks, we will learn the ancient Yang style Tai Chi of 24 postures, learning 2 -3 postures per week. Tai Chi is considered a part of Chinese medicine, that promotes the flow of Qi (Chi) or Vital Energy through the meridians, restoring and improving Health in the body! Yang style Tai Chi movements are light, smooth, and slow, and appropriate for all fitness levels. They are designed to build strength, improve flexibility & balance, reduce stress, increase energy flow, promote health & wellness and relax your mind.
This 12 week program is family friendly and open to all experience levels and capabilities.
Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes.
