Have you taken your #ParkRx today? Spending time in nature can actually benefit your physical, mental and emotional health! Take a hike along the remote, cascading Glade Creek. Prepare for 6 miles!
Follow WV 41 to the Prince area. Turn onto Glade Creek Road on the south end of the WV 41 bridge that crosses New River. Travel 6.0 miles to the trailhead parking area, next to the primitive campground at Glade Creek.
Get Active in the Park is an innovative partnership between the National Park Service and Active Southern West Virginia. Trained Community Captains deliver free, beginner-level instructional programs to the New River Gorge region. Get Active in the Park empowers our community to see outdoor spaces as a place for health and wellness to take place. This project was made possible in part by a grant from the National Park Foundation through generous support of the Coca-Cola Company and Coca-Cola Foundation.
