The top New Year’s Resolution in 2015 was to ‘stay fit & healthy’ as reported by 37% of Americans.
The Active SWV Kids Run program believes in the value of encouraging youth to be physically active on a daily basis. This is the next generation of the workforce and potential leaders of our state.
This is a magical time of year when we can slow down and be grateful for efforts toward health and happiness.
Our Fayetteville Community Captain Hilary Nicolau hosted the weekly Mile Monday in Fayetteville May through October with great results in getting beginner walkers and runners introduced to weekly group activities.
Active Southern West Virginia has enrolled in the Kroger Community Rewards program which means every time our supporters, partners, participants, etc.
Active Southern West Virginia presents the ActiveSWV Valley Elementary School Running Club, the first round of after school programming. Principal Harrah and PE Teacher Linkous will facilitate the program with support from the staff at ActiveSWV.
