Mount Hope – July Community of the Month

Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, so does the city of Mount Hope, West Virginia. Mount Hope is one of many coal impacted communities in southern West Virginia working to improve the quality of life for their decreasing populations while pivoting their economy. Town of Fayetteville WV Passes Complete Streets Policy

Congratulations Fayetteville, WV!

The Town of Fayetteville has recently joined a number of other cities around the New River Gorge region to adopt a Complete Streets policy. At special city council meeting the resolution passed; adding Fayetteville to the like of Mount Hope, Beckley, Oak Hill, and Hinton committing to increasing safe streets in our communities.
