Become a Community Captain
A Community Captain is a neighbor, friend, or family member who is passionate about improving health and happiness in their community through physical activity. Volunteer to become a Community Captain and receive the free training and support you need to lead others in weekly physical activity programs.
Become a Kids Run Club Coach
The Active SWV Kids Run Club program believes in the value of encouraging youth to be physically active on a daily basis. Volunteer with this after school program to help inspire and encourage youth to be healthy.
Volunteer at Events
Active SWV encourages southern West Virginians to lead physically active lives by creating opportunities for people to participate in healthy events. Help promote a healthy and happy southern West Virginia by volunteering at one of Active SWV’s signature events. Volunteers are needed to set up, direct, and cheer on participants. Be a part of the active revolution!
