Active SWV Race proceeds support free physical activity programs throughout West Virginia. These include Kids Run Clubs in schools, volunteer ‘Community Captain’ led fitness activities, and Workplace Wellness programs. All free programs are led by volunteers in their schools, communities, and worksites.
Volunteering with Active SWV’s race crew offers a fun and meaningful way to be part of the action. Race crew members enjoy event swag, plenty of snacks, and clear instructions in advance, so every role feels easy and well-supported. Volunteers also receive a free entry to a future Active SWV race as a thank-you, along with documented service hours for anyone who needs them. It’s a lively, community-focused experience that brings people together and helps make race day run smoothly.
