WV's 2025 Workplace Wellness Conference: September 19, 2025
Planning is underway for West Virginia’s 2025 Workplace Wellness Conference. Active Southern West Virginia is excited to announce this year’s conference will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025 at the New River Health Convention Center in Fayetteville, West Virginia. Our goal for this year’s conference is to make it more interactive and engaging and provide attendees with actionable advice and tips for workplace wellness. We are tweaking the conference structure a little bit, adding interactive sessions, including a food demonstration, incorporating more opportunities for physical activity, and highlighting workplace success stories with an exhibit showcase.
More information will come as planning continues for the conference but go ahead and mark your calendars. Better yet, go ahead and register for the event. We hope to see you there!

Country Roads Magazine Article
We didn’t plan the timing of this article with the conference announcement, but who are we to look a look a gift marketing horse in the face. In case you didn’t know, the West Virginia state Office of Rural Health publishes a magazine highlighting “stories of the people and organizations across our state who are making great strides in improving health and healthcare in their communities.” The article (LINKED HERE) discusses Active Southern West Virginia’s workplace, community, and school-based initiatives to improve health throughout our state.
