Summer Activities for Kids

School’s out and summer is here! Active SWV is on a mission to keep kids and families moving with all kinds of activities this summer.

Did you know that kids ages 6-17 should get at lest 60 minutes of activity every day, and adults should get at least 150 minutes a week? The benefits of activity are endless, but being active can help boost mood, improve focus, reduce stress, and improve sleep in kids and adults alike.

Keep reading for a list of free active opportunities and resources offered by Active SWV, as well as some activities from partners available this summer.
