It’s no wonder that this beautiful corner of Marion County is the setting for a weekly yoga series that brings together movement, mindfulness, and community connection.

Join Us Monday Evenings for Outdoor Yoga

Every Monday evening at 6 PM, Active SWV invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and connect with both your body and the natural beauty around you. Led by Community Captain Jess Bryzek, this gentle yoga and meditation flow is open to all levels—whether you’re a seasoned yogi or stepping onto a mat for the first time.

Classes are beginner-friendly and designed to help you move with ease and purpose. There’s no pressure to be flexible or experienced—just come as you are, ready to enjoy the fresh air and calming scenery.

Practicing yoga outdoors offers more than just a pretty backdrop. Studies show that spending time in nature lowers stress levels, boosts mood, and improves focus. Pair that with the physical and mental benefits of yoga—like improved strength, flexibility, balance, and mental clarity—and you’ve got a recipe for a full-body refresh.

Jess Bryzek, a passionate volunteer, brings warmth and inclusivity to every session. As a Community Captain, she’s committed to making physical activity accessible, enjoyable, and welcoming for all.

You don’t need to bring anything but yourself (and maybe a mat or towel). Come solo or bring a friend. Whether you’re local or just visiting the park, this is your invitation to pause, breathe, stretch, and enjoy the gift of movement in one of West Virginia’s most serene landscapes.
