October Participant of the Month: TL Wright of Charleston

Meet Terry (TL) Wright of Charleston, Active SWV Participant of the Month for October

Terry Wright is a committed biker from Charleston, WV.  He began riding with the WV Pedal Pals/Active SWV group led by Sam Nygaard.

Terry stays active as a disabled veteran and survivor of a cardiac event. He currently rides 10 miles per day/300 miles each month, and through the Mission 22 program donates funds to charity.  Terry loves the WV Pedal Pals early morning rides and other rides planned by Sam, making biking safe and healthy in the community.

Another cause that Terry contributes to through physical activity is 22 Stair Steps Per Day.  As a first responder at ground zero, Terry believes in this way of giving back to the World Trade Center/Ground Zero mission.

In August, Terry rode 6 times with Active SWV/ WV Pedal Pals, and obviously much more to meet his personal goals.

Consider joining one of Active SWV’s many walking/running/biking groups or other activities which meet weekly. Combining your physical activity goals is a great way to stay motivated.
