Brooke Barker of Diana WV is the Active SWV Participant of the Month
Brooke Barker is from Diana, Webster County, WV. She is a wife and mother to fur babies and a daughter. She is a Radiological Technologist specializing in Mammography. Trying to stay healthy and be health conscious is important, especially working in healthcare.
Brooke started being active because she and her husband were experiencing infertility. They wanted to be more mentally and physically well to face this challenge. Joining Active SWV free programs in Webster County really helped them stay consistent. They could try new things while close to home.
The couple has been blessed with their rainbow baby, and staying healthy for her is their biggest priority. Brooke says, “Being able to play and help her grow is everything to me. “
“The community that I have now because of this program is amazing, people who are in similar situations or people with similar interests to help us all grow and be better together,” she stated. The community and friendships she has gained from the program hold a special place in her heart.
