Capacity Building Grants

Capacity Building grants from Active SWV and the WV Division of Health Promotion and Chronic Disease (HPCD) are awarded to worksites that have at least one Work@Health trained employee. These $1500 grants are intended to provide funds to assist worksites with implementing Policy, System, and Environmental changes as a part of their workplace wellness program.

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis that will be reviewed as they are received. Typically, grant applications open mid to late August and close at the end of the year.  Only one application per workplace will be considered. Grants are competitive. Each application will be objectively ranked by a selection committee using this scoring rubric.
