Did you participate with Refit before the pandemic?
I did participate before the pandemic but had quit as I got off at 5 and 6 o’clock left an hour to kill before going to class.
If you did, what motivated you to continue through the pandemic? If you didn’t participate before the pandemic what motivated you to start during the pandemic?
When they went to outdoor classes during the pandemic. I was able to go to those because I was working from home. I could go at 6 without killing an hour. Then we went indoors. I was a little concerned about the virus because of my age. When the numbers continued to rise, I decided I probably wouldn’t go back. Lucky for me, they went to online classes. I love the online classes, as I can do these in the convenience of my home. It still isn’t the same as being there, but I can still work out without any virus worries.
What keeps you motivated to attend the online classes? What word of encouragement would you have for other people to join the class?
I would also encourage people to do online if you don’t want others watching you exercise, this makes it easier.
Do you have any special or fond memories from an online class?
I do have a funny on my online memory… I am not tech savvy, I couldn’t see the leader to follow her exercises and I was messaging everyone. They are great to work with and we just laughed until we figured out what was wrong.
