Fall 2021 Mini-Grant Recipients
Congratulations to all of our Fall 2021 Kids Run Club mini-grant recipients! In August, Active SWV invited schools in WV to fill out an application to receive $250 and technical assistance to get a Kids Run Club started at their school. This is the second cycle of the grant program.
We’d like to recognize Fairdale Elementary, Marsh Fork Elementary, Rupert Elementary, Mountain State Montessori, Morgantown Early Learning Facility, Kenna Elementary, Zela Elementary, Union Educational Complex, Stanaford Elementary, Richmond Elementary, and Grayhound Youth Sports for receiving the mini-grant this fall.
Of these recipients, Morgantown Early Learning Facility, Mountain State Montessori, and Grayhound Youth Sports are new to the program while the rest have had a Kids Run Club before. Active SWV is excited to work with all the mini-grant recipients to create successful and sustainable Kids Run Clubs at their sites.
