Fundraise for good cause
One of Active SWV’s most consistent and well attended programs for the past four years has been REFIT Beckley. Fueled by passionate and friendly instructors, we are proud to offer this free aerobics exercise class to participants three days every single WEEK! #dedicated.
Active SWV Community Captains Amber, Jennifer, and Allonna are fundraising to attend a RECON training conference and need your help to make it happen. Active SWV’s newest Signature Event has been created: Ready, Sweat, Glow! The inaugural is event planned for April 24, 2022 at Black Night Country Club in Beckley, from 1-4 pm. Featuring a light lunch, movie trivia, a silent auction, and a free Refit class set to show tunes. This promises to be a fun event for the community to get involved. The goal is to introduce even more Raleigh County residents to the REFIT platform as well as raise the funds for Community Captain volunteers.
REFIT all the time – and free
REFIT can be found every Monday and Thursday at Central Elementary gym (RCCAA), as well as on Tuesdays a special edition of REFIT; Rev and Flow. All classes from 6-7 pm, FREE and open to the public. (111 Willow Lane, Beckley, WV)
ALSO, a new partnership with WVU Tech has allowed us to offer REFIT at the Innovation Building, room 313 on Tuesdays at 6 pm. FREE and open to the public. (282 Minnesota Ave, Beckley, WV)
