Active SWV’s Kids Run Club program is a free initiative designed to get kids active in a structured and safe environment to teach them healthy skills and build their confidence in physical activity.
Through the Kids Run Club mini-grant, Active SWV partners with schools and community groups to create volunteer led Kids Run Clubs to bring the free opportunity to children in communities all over the state of WV.
Each awarded club receives manuals and training from Active SWV, shirts and medals for all participants, technical support throughout the season, and $250 to spend on healthy items for the club.
We’d like to recognize our spring 2022 Kids Run Club mini-grant recipients, and thank their dedicated volunteers for making the program available to kids in their communities!
