Create Your Own Fundraiser for Active SWV Races event through RunSignUp!
Elevate your participation in Active SWV Race events by creating a personal fundraiser to support free community physical activity programs across West Virginia. Your fundraising efforts will have a direct impact on local Kids Run Clubs, building on the success of the Spring 2024 session, which featured 37 clubs with 1,130 kids in a 6-week program. By contributing, you help spread the joy of running and foster healthier futures for WV youth. Read more about the free Active SWV Kids Run Club program here. How to Set Up Your Active SWV Fundraiser
During Registration:
- Start the Registration Process: Begin by registering for the race.
- Name Your Fundraiser: Enter a name for your fundraiser. This is typically your name, but feel free to get creative!
- Personalize Your Message: Write a message to display on your Fundraising Page.
- Set a Fundraiser Image: Choose an image to represent your fundraiser.
- Create a Fundraising Team (Optional): Form a team with co-workers, groups, or family for added fun.
- Save and Activate Your Fundraiser: Save your setup to generate your personalized fundraising link. You can edit it anytime.
After Registration:
- Sign In to RunSignup: Log into your account.
- Go to Your Profile: Access your profile page.
- Click My Registered Races: Find your registered races.
- Click Manage Registration: Select the race you want to manage.
- Click Fundraiser: Find this option in the left-hand sidebar and start your setup.
Important Details
- Non-Racers Can Fundraise: You don’t have to be registered for the race to set up a fundraising page.
- Incentives for Fundraisers: Raise $250 or more (equivalent to the mini-grant each Kids Run Club receives) and get free entry to the race.
