Active SWV’s Kids Run Club program is designed to target kids at a young age, teaching them the value of exercise before they’ve identified themselves as ‘athletic’ or not. The program gives kids confidence in their ability to be physically active, setting them up to live healthy lives beyond their time with the program.

We are excited to announce our first Spring into Summer Workplace Wellness Challenge! This 6-week challenge is a great opportunity for your team of employers to get moving and win great prizes too!

School will be out soon, kids will be spending more time in the sunshine, going on adventures and using more energy.

Active SWV recognizes the importance of being active on a regular basis to manage and prevent chronic diseases.

The Beckley BPAC (Bicycle Pedestrian Action Committee) started meeting in 2017 focusing on projects and events to enhance walking and biking assets in the Beckley area.
