Active Southern West Virginia is having a Fundraising Night at Panera Bread!
The second annual Active SWV Bridge Day 5K will be held on October 21, 2017 to allow runners one day a year to race across the New River Gorge Bridge in West Virginia.
The City of Mount Hope has applied to be recognized as a Bicycle Friendly Community through the League of American Bicyclists. For the past year, the Active Southern West Virginia’s Pedestrian, Bicycle and Trail coordinator has focused his efforts in Mount Hope to make the community more accommodating for bicyclists and pedestrians.
This group is led by Active SWV Community Captain, Kids Run Club Coach, and Ansted Middle School PE Teacher Kate Miller.
The Collins Middle School Run Club, powered by Active SWV, has been meeting to run 3 times a week throughout the winter.
