At the beginning and end of each Kids Run Club season, youth participants fill out a pre and post survey answering questions about their activity levels, daily screen time, and confidence in their ability to be physically active.

The Kids Run Club program has been impacting children for 5 years – half a decade! We have accomplished great things since starting with one pilot program in 2015, including getting thousands of kids active.

It can be tough to keep kids activity levels up and screen time down during the winter months between Kids Run Club seasons.

As another Fall Kids Run Club season wraps up, all of us here at Active SWV want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to all the volunteer coaches that make the program possible.

Thanks to some truly dedicated volunteers, Active SWV’s Kids Run Club program has been going strong since 2015. This fall season, many new teachers and parents have stepped up to become Kids Run Club coaches at their schools!

With the summer heat cooling off and the fall weather rolling in, it’s the perfect time for kids to get outside and participate in a Kids Hiking Club.

Fall Kids Run Clubs are almost here, and they are seeking more volunteer Coaches to help out! This is a great opportunity for people of all ages and fitness abilities to come out and volunteer with the community.

No matter what age you are, disguising your fitness activity as something else makes the experience more, well, fun.
