It’s April, which means the Kids Run Club season is starting up again!

The Active SWV Kids Run Clubs are designed as a free, 6-8 week program to help kids of all skill levels develop an enjoyment and understanding of exercise while learning healthy habits for life.

The Active SWV Kids Run Club program seeks to improve the health outcomes of southern West Virginian youth by empowering them with the knowledge, skills, opportunities, and confidence to be physically active throughout their lives.

By focusing on kids’ health, the ActiveSWV Kids Run Club program helps achieve the organization’s overall mission to improve the health and longevity of the workforce in the region by engaging in future workforce development.

The Active SWV Kids Run Program seeks to improve the health outcomes of southern West Virginian youth by empowering them with the opportunities, skills, and knowledge to be physically active.

The Active SWV’s Kids Run Club program works with elementary schools throughout Raleigh, Summers, Nicholas, and Fayette counties, striving to remove barriers to living healthy lifestyles, and enabling kids to lead active lives.

Staying active in the summer time is easy with an Active SWV Kids Run Club. The Active SWV Kids Run Club program was incorporated into the WVU Energy Express locations at Beards Fork and Mount Hope, WV.
