Active SWV is pleased to introduce April Community Captain of the Month, Linda Stein.
As we hop into Spring Season with Easter just around the corner we are surrounded by all sorts of eggs; plastic, hard-boiled, colorful and some full of goodies.
We’d like to recognize Region 1, Partners in Actions for their efforts to promote health and wellness in the workplace.
A simple, light and delicious cranberry chicken salad makes choosing something healthy, easy!
It’s April, which means the Kids Run Club season is starting up again!
The Active SWV Kids Run Club program teaches kids the skills and confidence they need to lead healthy, physically active lives beyond their time in the program.
We know you love those iconic trails, but in the spirit of the Love Your Park Campagin, Active SWV and the Park Rangers of New River Gorge want to show you some of the trails that we love.
Active SWV would like to introduce our March Participants of the Month, BFF’s Violet Carte and Bea Morris.

The Kids Run Club program has been steadily growing since it ran its pilot Club at Valley Elementary School in 2015.
It’s National Nutrition Month, a campaign each year in March to celebrate and highlight the importance of making informed food choices, develop healthy eating patterns and physical activity habits.
Active SWV would like to highlight Rick Accord as February Participant of the Month.
